File SUP24-04-07 for the property at 125 Davis Rd. (100 Davis Rd. as listed on the Parcel Viewer), Cave Spring, GA 30124, Floyd County Tax Parcel F18027B, being zoned Suburban Residential (S-R), requests a Special Use Permit for a campground. Staff recommended denial. Planning Commission voted to deny by a vote of 3-4. The motion failed and this will be forwarded to the Floyd County Commission as an approval.

File Z/SUP24-05-02 for the property at 3128 Cave Spring Rd. (0 Cave Spring Rd. as listed on the Parcel Viewer), Rome, GA 30161, Floyd County Tax Parcel I16Y024, requests to rezone from Suburban Residential (S-R) to Community Commercial (C-C) and requests a Special Use Permit for temporary vehicle storage. Staff recommended approval of the rezoning and the special use permit. Planning Commission voted to approve by a vote of 7-0.

File Z/SUP24-07-04 for the property at 4859 Alabama Hwy. (0 Alabama Rd. as listed on the Parcel Viewer), Rome, GA 30165, Floyd County Tax Parcel E13Z279, requests to rezone from Office Institutional (O-I) to Suburban Residential (S-R) and requests a Special Use Permit to construct a solar farm. Staff recommended approval of the rezoning but denial of the special use permit. Planning Commission voted to approve the rezoning by a vote if 7-0. Planning Commission voted to approve the special use permit by a vote of 6-1.

 
4.

File Z24-07-06 for the property at 3243 Wax Rd., Aragon, GA 30104, Floyd County Tax Parcel M19166, requests to rezone from Community Commercial (C-C) to Agricultural Residential (A-R). Staff recommended approval. Planning Commission voted to approve by a vote of 7-0.

Consider request from I.T. to approve Equipment Schedule No. L10241 with Ontario Investments, Inc.

 
2.

Consider request from Police Department to approve the authorization to sign a letter of intent to use Apple Developer Program for the FCPD app.

 
3.

Consider request from Public Works to approve a letter of support for a ReLeaf Grant application with the Georgia Tree Council for Alto Park. This will help plant trees at the park and is at no cost to the County. Parks and Rec will provide the maintenance for three years.

 
4.

Consider request to approve adjustments to the amount of LRA funding requested for Blacks Bluff Road Wingwall Repair at Brushy Branch, and Jones Mill Road Relocation.
